Just this year at the AR:
While the fire was raging and someone chucked a railway sleeper across the container. Hovis decided in all his drunken wisdom that he could DEFINETLY make it accross the sleeper through the flames and out the other side. It took Myself Manxmatt, Paulthe6th and Girth about 30mins to convince him that this was a bad idea destined to end with a drunken trip to A+E. If he wanted to do something, this is a guy who would do it. A lasting impression has been made from minimal contact. Much love breadboy, keep an eye out for us all while your up there. |

As long as that is in keeping with Hovis' FAMILY'S WISHES!
We should remember that we do not have a monopoly on our grief at Hovis passing, that his family absolutely should come first. We should also remember he was a friend to many outside the ORG. Let's not make any grandiose plans until we know details of the funeral and his family's wishes on how it should be conducted, then make an appropriate gesture to our friend. Just don't want to upset any one further at this time, not being a wet blanket.
