What was bloomin obvious was the fact he was sitting sideways on to the traffic with his passenger side windows open! Why was he trying to pull out behind us anyway, we were all dead on the speed limit so he should have seen that we were a decent bunch and not lunatics, respecting the limit where it mattered most, and left us well alone!

Ooooh!

Calm down Col, it wasn't that lad from your court case! Deep breaths, and....... relax.

I was home for 18.50.

429 miles.

I had a bad attack of carpal tunnel to my left hand so from lunch time, I was struggling with controlling the clutch. By the time I arrived home, my left hand was neither use nor ornament.

However, I had a brilliant time. Absolutely fantastic route! I shall definitely be doing it again at some point. I loved the A49. I'd probably love it even more if my hands and feet weren't like blocks of ice. Next time I intend to ride it all the way down to Leominster.

Loved, loved loved the route we took from the services to Bala. Stunning mountain scenery. I just made sure I didn't look down.

Thanks Ed for organising this. I had a lovely time and it was good to catch up with everyone again. And thanks Chris for guiding me to the M56. It was such a relief to get on the motorway and not have to use the clutch so much.

Didn't see him at all, but as we were within the limit I wasn't looking. LLanbedrog always has some enforcement in the area it seems, last year it was the scamera van.

At THAT bit we were. I think that occasionally, after leaving Bala, we might have crept a touch over the limit. Only a wee bit though...

and in those bits where I may have strayed over the NSL I was on max obs. First rideout in a long while and I found that I was mentally tired by the end of the day and was taking a 'rest' when I could. So it's just a case of getting the head used to the concentration required to see everything again.

You know I was below top form observation wise yesterday
