What i will say folks, is do get things checked if you arent sure.

I've had this painless lump in my neck for probably 10 months tbh, completely painless n what not. Went in to the doctors last September and got referred straight away. The hospital were abit slow on the uptake IMO and i only got the biggest one taken out 2 weeks ago. Still thinking nothing of it, i mean, im 22, fit and healthy, people dont get cancer at 22, im not that unlucky. but uh, yeah they do it seems.

So if you do spot anything. I would strongly actually listen to the adverts haha.

I've just been abit naive i guess.

Nevermind!

sorry to hear this, a very good friend of mine got hodgkins lymphoma (I think it was that one) when we were about 16/17, he went through rather a lot, but he's still here today alive fit and healthy and now works as a youth coach at Watford football club and has done many seasons over in the usa coaching too.

So the server was just sat there, disk light flashing like crazy, not responding to keyboard. Power cycle and all came back.

I love my own servers with integrated lights out. I can power cycle remotely. Far easier

The amount of money the BBC have spent on sending their staff around the world to report on the eclipse. Plus all the extra programmes.

Plus Star Gazing live, means heir hunters is cancelled.

Sorry im not in the excited group, even if i could see the sun this morning.

Sorry to hear that.
It's not exactly easy but talking about it with the support groups and the nurses is the way forward.

When simple jobs, turn into massive ones just because people are lazy/ignorant.

'Sigh'

Is it too much to ask for people to be nice ?

I work for a managed service provider, and get this all the time.

You are not alone. Not at all.

Just suffered from this only it was me. Need to bleed my rear brake as it's so spongy it's failed its MOT. Couldn't open the brake reservoir as the screws had rusted to the nuts so now I have to replace it and refill it all.

One more item to add to routine maintenance!

At least the reservoir was half price from robinsonsfoundry.

Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Being asked a complex question, but then having to spend 20 minutes asking the person who asked the question to shut up long enough to be able give an answer that gives a thorough enough explanation that the question merits.

Why aren't you on budget?
I'm within 0.06% of budget. The minimal overspend is the result of... Please give me a chance. ...regular requests to complete unbudgeted... Please let me answer...works...please....

You get the idea!

Quite the opposite. I asked a simple question of an online retailer and got such a confusing relpy that I can't be bothered to place an order. It was an American site
