Belated good morning. Woke up silly early but dozed off again till nearly nine. Luxury.

My legs ache a bit after a long geocaching walk yesterday but otherwise dandy. Time to start tidying the garage and the shed so I can start putting things away. Clock change weekend is when I put the patio furniture away for the winter but I need to get rid of the clutter in the shed first. A run to the dump may be in order this afternoon - never nice at the weekend as the queue can be horrendous.

Where did Friday go. Slept in after 6 today, which was nice, but back at work today

But I'm taking Wednesday Thursday and Friday off, so a short week.

Patio now looks very empty

And I've got to degrease the BBQ tomorrow before it too hibernates in the shed.

At least the garage is tidy now so I may finally be able to build that bookcase for the landing.

Evening all. Lazy day for me today after getting into bed at around 2.30am. Up early for the next four days though so I shan't be late to bed tonight I think.

Back at work, and our it's now cold to work outside

Just stuffed my face, so sitting in my hotel room, deciding whether to do some admin or do it in the morning.

Monday morning - back to the hunt for my next contract. So many of the agencies go radio silent on me it's very irritating as I have to keep reminding them by email I'm here to make sure they keep me in mind if something suitable comes up. Nice sunny day out there so I'll head outside in the afternoon so I don't go stir crazy from being in the study all day. Keeping tabs on the entertaining banter on here with a cuppa keeps me sane too and I am SO glad Col is back with us with another interesting build thread kicking off.

clocks going back started the winter off up here.. its fekin freezin. -2 last night and first day of frost being on car windscreens.....

Same down here too. At least I got to stay indoors and watch Lady Poppy scrape the windows on her car instead of being out there doing my own. Being between gigs has its advantages on mornings like this. Of course if I had been more chivalrous I would have gone and sorted her windows for her but, well, I was not dressed and the neighbours would not have liked it...

Yeah solid ice on the windscreen this morning. The de icer didn't even touch it. Tempted to get a windscreen cover this winter
