Re: Winning bid for 2014- The banter thread
Well after having to abandon plans to get to AR we finally got our plan B organised.
I shall be spending that weekend in Norfolk with 4 other Orgers. It'll be an odd combination of 5 people. 3 are called Chris. 3 are tee total. 1 can't have dairy, 1 can't eat prawns, and 1 doesn't like nuts so cooking will be fun. 1 probably won't even remember to turn up. 1 currently doesn't have a bike as it's stuck in Ireland after an attempted theft. There may be a forfeit involving a bikini and we are staying near the beach but at least none of us owns a monkey onesie - as far as I know. But we'll still miss you all at AR

Re: Winning bid for 2014- The banter thread
What's the ale situation for AR? Is there a proper boozer? This may affect Mrs T's decision to come along or not. Apparently standing around drinking in a field all night is more my kind of thing than hers. I've only myself to blame, spoiling her.

loads of proper boozers, Bellingham seems to be the main place for the surrounding area so gets busy at night. i wont be standing about in a field drinking that's for sure.

Wife and I have had a few afternoons in the three pubs on your behalf. We always felt safe, welcome and the company friendly. Beer and food are more than acceptable.
