Good ride today boys and girls. The journey back ended up being extremely...spirited. Those guys we met up with seemed like nice guys.

The ride home was intense! Had a 'moment' on a roundabout when I thought I was gonna touch the curb in the center so steered away and nearly hit the curb on the outside.. Doh!

Dan - Can I have the details of your mobile tyre guy? Is he cheap?

It was a decent pace....i shall crank it up to that level more in the future.

Your exhaust isn't as bad as i thought it would be Tony. It wasn't uncomfortable to ride behind you.

Its nice to ride roads that you don't know too well, so you're out of your comfort zone....makes it really focused.

Those blokes seemed alright....maybe they will come on the site, but i wouldn't be surprised if they forget the URL.

Like Nick i also had a moment on the exit of a roundabout. Cranked over accelerating away and i hit a big stone. Probably damaged my wheel in some way.

I'm not 100% sure what happened to ape, stu, grant and sophie. I think we may have lost them on the dual carriageway when we turned off towards Horsham? I absolve myself from any blame!

If they went that way, then they should have theoretically beaten us home.

Officially 10 riders made it to the destination out of 11 is this a record?
But then again we lost some people on the way back ?. yes but the speeds were doing says it all playing in traffic
But gained two extras..
Nice turn out

I wondered where you guys would have got off - I took the fast way back around the M25 - Ape and Sophie were on the A23 last I saw. Bring back the marker system next time I say...

I suggested the marker system earlier in the thread, but the ape wasn't having any of it. Therefore i lay all blame at his door.
