Re: The running thread!
Not pleasant. The staff are always nice in Dartford and give me a smile and a wave as I go through for free. The TYne tunnel charges me 20p for a scowl.

Re: The running thread!
Massive derail sorry. I'm back on the treadmills now instead of outside. High gradient fast 20min sprints or if I get to the gym in time I'll run for 30mins while the simpsons is on

Re: The running thread!
Wow- just come in from my first run in 3 months- managed 2.5 miles without even slowing to walk once! Didn't time it though- had no expectations.....
Had a few weeks of grottiness and the doldrums, so getting back into it to blow away the cobwebs. It's amazing how much mucus one produces when one starts exercise after a break... Quote:
Choose your preferred units and start clicking away on your map. Each new waypoint you click adds to the measurement distance. There's also an undo feature in case your clicking goes awry. Simple. Nice. |

Re: The running thread!
For my precious skin yes
I leave the house at 6.30am and get back at about 6.30-7pm. It's much easier to pop in to the gym and do weights and a run in one place; I simply run out of time (i'm normally in bed by 10, even my grandma wakes me up when she phones - terrible!) When I get as fit as you I'll be running all over the place! |
