I read it, it's very interesting. I take it carbs were the enemy! I've dropped two and a half stone over about 18 months but would like to lose another two. I'm lifting weights 3 times a week and rowing again and my diet is quite tight so i'm expecting results soon!

Yea it seems that way.
I stayed off the weight lifting because I dont want to gain muscle weight.
Im going down my local gym but doing things like rowing and cross trainer.
Am also doing cycle riding to help

You're definitely onto a winner like, just keep it up. My weight loss has slowed down a bit but I need to try and maintain some muscle mass, so I don't mind that much. To lose the amount you have in such a short time is amazing and will have taken a lot of dedication, new leathers aint gonna be cheap though

Until I get to a weight I am happy with I am keeping on it.
Have had to buy some new clothes as you can imagine and also some bike clothing. But most of the bike gear has been second hand of ebay for now.

I guess that's a good excuse to update the wardrobe

Ha ! I can now get into a frank thomas leather jacket I bought back in the mid 90's. And it fits better now than it ever did !!
Fortunately its plain black and not some of those loud 90's colours.
