Re: Vintage film cameras
Now you tell me! Only joking. Didn't see anything else in there. There is a lot of fungus in the rear elements so this may be junk anyway. Sent off a roll of 35mm and 120 to Snaps. Also bought a roll of Ektar 100 to pop in the Auto Half for a trip to London in a couple of weeks.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Give it a clean and see. I did have noticeable, distinct pitting on the front of one Contessa (although the pictures came out pretty well), but the few others I've cleaned have been fine, maybe a small surface mark but that's all. The Contessamat had a fair layer and blooms of it all over, and cleaned up perfectly, so it can be hard to tell.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I will probably need to remove the rear retaining rings and lift the whole barrel off. Camera is pretty much junk as it is so no harm in fiddling around with it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Starting price is good. I wonder how high it will go.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Blimey, be interested to see how good the pics are Kenzie. I've uploaded the Konica pics to Flickr, will rearrange them and add comments next week but at least you can see what's in there. The Canonet also has a Copal SV shutter I think, but a later version.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I am, there is one ending tomorrow and I also found one listed as a "Prontor" camera with five days left. 120 was mostly family, but the 35mm was a test film from a Bilora Bella 35. Yoko, did you notice the spelling mistake on the om2?
