there is no need to use the rivet pusher if you grind the old tops off. all you do is use a screwdriver to pry the plate off

Have finally got everything I need for my bar conversion (except the time to do it now )

New brake hoses, throttle cables, bar grips

Wasn't sure if I was going to need clutch or choke cables though

nice one.

according to mr suzuki they are different part numbers and from experience i would presume so.

you can get away with cutting the ends of the bars to get the standard naked cables on but IIR you cant use/do it with the sport ones.

Renthal bars are very wide.

Yes they do seem particularly wide and I vaguely remember cutting some renthal bars that I fitted on a naked many years ago.

I've got brake hoses and throttle cables from a naked and just ordered some naked clutch and choke cables.

The top yoke is lovely, can't beat a bit of cnc machining

Not a lot, after finally ordering new tyres for the GSXR, and waiting a week for the rear to arrive. I set about to swap them over. I quickly realised that I'm a numpty.
It's the first time spannering on the GSXR, and I don't own a 24mm hex key to undo the front, or have a 36mm socket for the rear. Bugger.

Amazon should deliver then Monday.

I did however dust the cobwebs off my long forgotten Cube road bike.

Been meaning to post this, more for riders with new bikes as there’s been a few lately but probably give you an idea for how much to cut for shoulder width.
His accent sort of grates me as a bit false, I’m sure he’s British or something originally but mostly good advice anyhoo

he has been at the game for a loooong time and his knowledge of suspension tuning is superb (2 clicks out). he is a bit vague at giving the absolute information but if your clever enough you can work things out.

Yeah I found him
Useful a couple of years ago with his tyre wear advice . He reads tyre ripples and snotters like a mystic with tea leaves .
He used to do paid for videos but looks like he’s made a lot of it free lately as the self promotion probably makes him more money these days
