Re: INTERESTING FACT OF THE DAY
A cat's terminal velocity is about 60mph which is non-fatal. You can throw a cat out of the 7th floor or higher and it'll orientate itself and spread itself out to land with less injuries than from the 6th floor. Please DO NOT throw cats out of buildings to verify this.

All Clown Fish are born male, a mature male turns female once the female of the group dies.

Re: INTERESTING FACT OF THE DAY
On September 12, 1951, former middleweight champion Sugar Ray Robinson defeats Randy Turpin to win back the belt in front of 61,370 spectators at the Polo Grounds in New York City. Robinson, a New York City native, had lost the belt to Turpin two months prior in Turpin’s native London.

Re: INTERESTING FACT OF THE DAY
Paraphrasing:
There are estimated to be between 20,000 and 25,000 human protein-coding genes. Surprisingly, the number of human genes is less than two times greater than that of many much simpler organisms, such as the roundworm and the fruit fly. However, a larger proportion of human genes are related to central nervous system and especially brain development. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_genome |
