Put a film in the Konica! I shouldn't be so excited, or should I? Shutter speeds came out more or less as expected, so 1/500 was more like 1/280 and so on, none of these older cameras can manage their intended speeds. That said, some of them never manged them out of the box either. Anyway uploaded the repair series to Flickr, it's a bit hard to follow as I think I did some things in the wrong order, so tried to put that right, but it's there anyway

I would be excited after all the effort and determination you have put in to bring the camera back to working condition. I would have junked it by now, which seems to be the way the QL19 is heading.

I'll pay the postage if it's going in the bin, although the queue is starting to build up again! you're only a few moves away from having the shutter in bits though, see my Konica album for how to separate it. Once you're in you have to be careful, but you will be able to see the state of the blades. By careful I mean, not even loud farting.

I'm mad busy at work at the moment. Just time for the occasional quick glance on here. It looks like you worked out the problem with the scanner.
I went into WYCameras on the way home tonight as I needed a couple of things. too much temptation; they have a £20 shelf with camera and lens. Zeniths, Prakticas, Yashicas.....

I think I'm sorted for China now. Picked up a Trip and an OM10 together for £45 last weekend. Sold the Zuiko 50mm for £20 so that works out fairly reasonable for 2 cameras, both in good nick and fully working. The Adaptall 2 35-135 will go on the OM10. Debating whether to get something a little bigger just in case.

Bigger means more weight. Can you be bothered to carry it? Want to ease up posting temptation but 322227554619

The weight is no big deal. It won't be coming back home with me.
Realistically, 70-210 would be half repeating focal length I already have. Maybe a 200?

200mm fixed? Got a bid in on a batch of expired 127 film plus some 120 black and white.
