Count us in - Pingu65 and Pingi - And SV650 rider invited us at a local gathering of bikes - Not SV650 owners but we do ride an DL1000K6 V-strom GT.
This will be our 1st camping experience in our lives - so be gentle with us..... |

Re: The Ar08 - Its Here !!!!!!!!
I'm yet undecided about it. Would like to go but depends on fund$ situation at the time. My tent is just a glorified sleeping bag, you can't even sit upright in it

If I make it (looking 60/40 in favour at the moment) I'll bring a friend and his own 2 wheels. PS - my tent is a bit like a zipseal freezer bag, in blue |

Re: The Ar08 - Its Here !!!!!!!!
Don't want to send this thread on a downwards spiral really, but I'm less than certain to, well long story short, I was comitted to go, however
1.) I've found out that it's my first full week back (as I'm on a graduated return to work) 2.) I'm not even at work that week as I'm on a Cisco course 3.) I don't know even where it's going to be yet 4.) the exam is friday afternoon ( so I can't book the day off) 5.) first course in the last couple of years so don't really want to pi** off work really 6.) I've forgetton a load of the stuff I'll need for this course, so it'll be heavy going anyway. 7.) I hate exams, but always work hard at passing them so I probably wont sleep for the few days before. So come friday evening, I'll be burnt out, knackered and have to ride down alone, admittedly it's only 3 hours or so, but then I wasn't planning on doing the rideout anyway, so should I just come down Saturday morning, but then if I'm not doing the rideout what's the rush, so should I make it the afternoon /evening time ? but if I do that is it really worth all that travelling just for one night in a tent then back home Lots of reasons to go, and lots not to. I wish I could be more positive about it, but then there are a number of realistic reasons not to be. We'll see. Cheers Mark.

Re: The Ar08 - Its Here !!!!!!!!
But hey, look on the bright side, that looks like a huge step on the road back to some sort of normality... Bizarre as it seems to me now I remember being so pleased to get back to work. Now, I'm considering breaking my other leg
