lop another 3" off it ............and you can join the stubby club

does look nice though, is it a balanced length either side of the hanger ?

when i did mine i got the calculator out

the formula is all pipe and can volume, must be equally divisible by the cc's of the bike

mine worked out as headers and can 2700cc's each side which is of coarse a multiple of 900. its to do with scavenging not as critical on a four stroke as it is on a 2 stroke.

WHAT?

Me so fick, me just attacked it with a saw until no more scratchy bits were left.

Oh, and it is balanced either side of the hanger, purely by luck mind you!

So then I sat down, scratched my head and worked out that the volume of my can and headers is now 4319 cm cubed. 650 goes into that about 6.6 times. So to match the formula, I have to take 4.5 cm off the length of the can.

Erm, no.

Edit, If the packaging inside the can is taken into consideration, 650cc goes into the total volume 6.1 times, which is near as damn it for me!

Why am I now think of Hovis putting those little circular yellow stickers, with the black cross through them, on his leathers.
