Can't keep the lower part of my lid foam bit in place

Tried double sided tape

Maybe sticks like sh**e next.

Yes £82.24 because a stone has holed my headlight lense. Of course Triumph don't sell the glass only. you need to buy the whole assembly...

Try wrecking a new rear tyre by running over a stone and destroying the carcass, or riding over a stone and shooting a hole straight through your radiator, they are a menace and someone should ban stones, all of them. One gets me every year. Actually they got me twice last year, chipped a new helmet and visor but I lived with that, shouldn't have been following so close, then the car hit me so I got a new helmet, not that any one has paid me yet!

For that you'd be better off getting a pair of Cibie lens/reflector units which will point the light where it is some use.
