Considering that 2 months ago, I didn't know what light seals were, I've made lightning progress.

Nice find, yeah Pentax seals turn to mush after a number of years. They're great cameras, quite small too, but no other case will fit it - did it come with one? The dimensions don' match any other model. The f1.7 is a good lens, I'd look for an f1.4 instead if I didn't already have the f1.2, as it's a stop faster and said to be really great.

yeah, it came with a Pentax case which seems to fit so I guess it's the original one. Having the user manual is a bonus too. The 1.7 lens will do me for now I think.
I had a little play with it last night and all seems fine; easy to use. Don't like the powerwinder though and can't see myself ever using it so I think that will have to go.

Have noticed that the price of Trip 35s is climbing again.

Kenzie, I'm going to have to follow your idea of putting film packet tabs in hotshoes. I suddenly realised I have no idea which of my cameras have films in.

Blimey! I was putting the bunniez away tonight and realised it was a great evening and I should have gone out earlier and taken a few pics. I've got a film in the Konica which has an f1.8 lens so better in low light than some of the others I have, though I'd probably take a tripod anyway just in case. Might try one or two with the Certo as it's f2.9 but Ilford B&W film which you can over-expose up to 6 stops - so a long exposure to get the lowlights doesn't necessarily blow out the brighter parts.

It's really helpful as I have trashed a couple of films by not realising it's loaded. Might try the Woolpit car boot on Sunday weather permitting, found my silver button Trip there but not been back since.

I know 3 are definitely loaded. I think 2 others are too but can't remember which.
I did the MX light seals today. Worst yet. Mirror damper needs replacing too.
I promised myself I will finish 2 of the films in the loaded cameras this bank holiday.

Spin the rewind crank if a 35mm, you'll soon know. Feeling some medium format if we decide to go out.

Fancy a challenge Johnny? 201650652862

Hmm looks like trouble to me!

Think I had noticed the Trips getting a bit more expensive, maybe it's a seasonal thing? People are much more optimistic in summer, try more new things. I was perusing the bay of pigs last night, and there are so many great-looking cameras (assuming they work of course), seems a shame so many of them don't get used any more.
