Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Yes they do! Onlt the GPZ got the twin front disk in 2002. It will feel sloppy as hell mate, plus get used to that wonderful tweeting noise that the ER5 exhaust makes. i put one on my GPZ and it did exactly the same. sounded fine with the stock can? Wierd. On the plus side i guess they will see 70mpg if you treat it properly.
Did I hear someone say 45bhp EDIT - get a GPZ if you have to get a kawk commuter - 15bhp more and a half fairing for winter, better brakes and they sound better (OK they both sound carp but the ER5 sounds REALLY feeble) Last edited by philbut; 14-06-08 at 03:17 PM. |

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Cheers Phil , having second thoughts now tho.. After insurance, tax, mot, servicing, repairs etc it may not make sense to be running another vehicle

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Probably not if you only do a few miles on it each day. i was clocking up about 60 miles a day on the GPZ so it made sense to have a cheap hack, plus i could leave it outside so didnt have to spend time in the morning getting it out of the garage.
You could service it yourself, and it will be cheap as chips to add onto insurance. cheaper tyres too, but then if you already have the car its a balancing act between how much you'd save in petrol each day. they are pretty reliable so long as you don't buy a dog. |

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
+ it will be a nice sunny day and you will look in the garage see the Kwak next to the ER5 and think "Yeah today I'll take the Kwak - she needs a bit of a run". From that day forth the ER5 will remain firmly in the garage.

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Or alternatively - you will pimp the ER5 up with a new can, tail tidy etc etc and then sell it like all your other bikes!!
