When we had the poor weather a while back the SV never got used for about a fortnight. For the first couple of days of riding after that it was a bit lumpy, definitely not as smooth running as I'm used to. I used it most days for a week and it was back to it's lovely smooth and responsive self. They don't like being left stood and unused.

I only rode it to the MOT centre last year, hasn't been used since
It was running fine then, and it's been on the charger, although it's showing a fault I've got a spare spark plug, so I'm going to put that in tomorrow. Speedo didn't start working until I'd done a few miles ( GSXR front end, so Hall effect sensor), so I'm wondering if the battery is fubar, after the RR went? Haven't ridden it at all in the 3 years since I replaced the RR. Would also explain why it's showing up as a fault on the Optimate
