Re: Vintage film cameras
I could go and collect if you want, depends if there's anything worth having, correct mounts etc. "Sheffield" is a bit vague but it's not so far away

Re: Vintage film cameras
Looks like an interesting bundle at that price. Definitely worth a bid or two if you are after lenses.

Re: Vintage film cameras
No, go for it. Hard to make out what's there but it looks like a 135, a 70-210 and a prime although with that metal aperture collar I don't recognise it. It's a 1.4 though. (maybe an earlier Rokkor?)

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just be sure of the right fittings etc. otherwise yep no problem, I'm not very familiar with Minolta or what is/isn't back-compatible, all that jazz.
Bessa 66 arrived last night, looks clean but shutter sticking and lenses need a bit more of a clean than the wiping they've been given. Nice shutter release located on the door. Top speed is labelled as 1/500! It has a hell of a stiff booster spring to get the ring to turn onto that. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Not too sure about the job lot, seems a lot of hassle for everyone. Johnny/Yoko, surprised you two haven't met up for a ride out/photo day given how close you two are to each other.
Have you thought any more on the Yashica Yoko?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Tempting though... especially if the SRT works. I might pop a bid on in an hour if no-one else bothers.
I messaged the seller. The gear is all at the father-in-laws. Couldn't give me any info on lenses or condition. Last edited by yokohama; 07-09-16 at 06:50 PM. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
All north of the Watford gap innit!
Had a chance to look at my latest acquisition. The camera bag could do with a wash but looks fine. The Pentacon case is good and hopefully someone will want it. The small flash will charge but not fire, bin. The big one is a Hanimex TZ1, which is adjustable for wide/normal/telephoto and is a bit of a beast but quite good otherwise. The PC cord is missing alas, so I may sell it or actually keep it, if I can get another one, as it's more advanced (although much bigger) than the Cobra jobby I use for cold-shoe cameras. Not sure these things go for much though. |
