Bibs, just watch out for the tax man. When I was a limited company, I got a back tax demand for nearly £25000. My accountant got it down to £5 but his fees cost me an additional £650.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I gave my 4 year old niece a Hotel Chocolat white chocolate red caramel filled oozy eyeball to eat. She tried to put the whole thing in her mouth but didn't like the caramel and dribbled it all down her chin, over her dad's foot and my father in law's cream rug.
My sister in law said I'd only been in the house 2 minutes and look at the mess I'd created. Trouble was me and the niece just got the giggles and that made her dribble more.

Quote:
I got passed around every debt collection agency in the country who would very politely phone me up about it, I'd explain the situation and show them the evidence, and they'd drop the case. British Gas would then pass me on to the next one. So I eventually told the collection agencies to do one as well. Not heard anything since. Overall, a lot of hassle for a company that can't seem to copy & paste numbers without getting mixed up.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I'm employed again. Got a call yesterday while wandering through the supermarket, interviewed this morning, start tomorrow. I've been searching just over a month and that's just the way it seems to happen in my line of work. The only odd thing is they need me to provide my own pc - never had that happen before so a quick trip to PC World and I have now finished setting up my shiny new HP Envy and Office 2016. Bring it on.
