Brass tubing done the same way can also work.

I'm not sure if it's feasable with the SV tank though, as i've not seen the construction from the inside, or how this is routed through the tank.

Your safest bet is, as you've said a new tank.

There are a few on ebay currently....None yellow though.
Fuel hose might be a bit thick to go inside the drain tube - use Scottoiler thin tube - as in earlier thread.
Brass tube - you'll have a helluva job getting that round any bends!
. . . and jambo - pre K2 yellow is the darker one

Thanks for the advice and help everybody.
I've got a black tank off ebay to see me until I can find the right yellow one or repair the one I've got.
I don't hold out much hope for the repair but if I have any success I'll let everybody know.
