That's no green eyed sprout, it's one of these (and a very good likeness, superb!)

Embee wins....almost, but good enough. I think your picture is a
TR3, my dad had the TR2...most noticeable difference is the sunken grille in the TR2 but either way, they are beautiful.

I hope he gets to have another one day. My mum made him sell it before they had my sister and me

He was most pleased when he saw it this afternoon!

They are truly beautiful cars aren't they. Would love to see my dad have one again.

I was given a coffin cake for my 25th birthday, brown fondant, little handles and a plaque on top saying tim wilkinson, born 1560, died 1585. Currently haunting Chorley. This was inspired by the fact that I looked half dead due to my life style at the time.

That started a little business for my colleagues wife who made train cakes, cars etc.

When I turned 30 I got a newspaper cake from them. Just white icing with back colour print about my life till then. As I had always said I would not get married until the pope got divorced the headline was about the pope being secretly married and the imminent divorce. Stop press being Clayton-le-Woods man has heart attack at papal news.

Cheers GG. There were many hours of work in that. So far we've managed a large number 1, Mister Happy, police motorbike, butterfly, pirate ship, and the Mermaid. The most fun was the little extras like the shark and crab. Both children loved eating the shark! I'd hate to think how much it would cost to buy one of these though - way to many hours, and a lot of fondant.

My mum made a christmas cake for our ship. She did icing that looked like waves & my dad did a minature version of our ship out of balsa wood, almost perfect to scale and painted the right colours. That was in 1989, I still have that ship my dad made. Such a clever chap my dad.

Dad's are great. I found my old He-man sword he'd made me in their loft last week. It's solid mahagany and about 2' 6" long! Unfortunately the Rocket Man pack made from lemonade bottles is long gone
