Hmmm...he does have a strange aversion to fairing panels.

Re: Spannering in West Yorkshire
actually this would be a fab start. if you had a list of
oil and filter change (inc and byon oil?) valve check chain and sprocket change fork seals etc etc It can be cheaper to get yc to do it and buy the bits than do it yourself. |

Re: Spannering in West Yorkshire
Wouldn't have thought it would be a good idea to list prices on a public forum, besides the fact it's a bit cheeky to advertise directly through here, he tends to charge per hour as some jobs can prove more of a ballache than others. And competitive rates and all that.
Best bet is to get in touch via pm. |

Re: Spannering in West Yorkshire
From YCs point of view it is far fairer to charge for time, rather than to price a job. That way if you are the kind of person who looks after their bikes, does get it serviced regularly so that not every fastener in sight is seized solid, and does get jobs done before they damage/impact on something else then each visit will be straightforward, quick, and therefore cheaper to you..... It also encourages loyalty as YC will know what he is likely to be dealing with each time and again that makes for faster work. On the other hand if business is slow then make sure YC isn't using locktight instead of copper grease on some of the bolts just so they take ages to get out next time!
