Feel gutted for him, was hoping things would get better. Hope he keeps his chin up.
The bike did look quite bad when it was on its side, but at the end of the day a bike can be repaired. Just hope Jason heels well.

Poor Jason, how shocking that his shoulder has been allowed to get worse rather than being sorted out straight away

Hope he makes a speedy recovery, and as most have said it seems to be worse than first imagend.
Glad to see he is getting the support he needs tho.

Just got off the phone to him. He is being moved tomorrow to Hudersfield hopefully, and they are looking at doing his op on Friday.
The bad news is it is quite a big injury, 8 breaks in total. The shoulder Blade has a few, the shoulder has been ripped from the socket and 3 ribs are fractured. He did seem a bit down & not his usual self , understandable!! and he has been told it will take up to 9 months to fully recover to get the strength back. So he is out of Biking for a while as well. I have passed on all your GWS messages and he is appriciative of them. Again a Big big thank you to Baph for helping him out while he has been there. Cheres Mate. |

OMG poor Jason.....I hoped it wasn't that bad....GWS mate....hope he gets the transfer tomorrow.... then you are closer to the people who love you and will help to make the recovery a bit better
