I was planning a surprise out of the blue attendance today but the bike failed its MOT yesterday... I thought everything was sorted that needed but i didnt think to check the front tyre.... DEAD front STORM after 8.5k ?????

Back home. WTF happened, couldn't get onto the hospital grounds. Police just said, sorry no space!! Erm there has been space before!

Just got back, excellent day, proper well busy at Eastham Tap, must have taken an hour get a burger

Nightmare at end there, apparently the hospital restricted the number of bikes this year. Me and Regency were on the garage forecourt before the hospital entrance but couldn't attract anyone's attention lol!

Great day out folks, really good to see you all. Nice to be surprised by one or two folks turning up unannounced . Yeah shame about not being able to get on to the hospital, it was chaos up be the M53 junction due to that. The police were very laid back and handled it well I thought.

Although we got split up on the ride, some of us met up at The Tap, Eastham Ferry - that was bonkers too! I parked about half a mile away due to the grid lock. Sorry to those I did not get in touch with, I didn't have your mobile numbers...

Had a great time seeing everyone again, and was good fun, even if we didn't make it to the hospital.

Special thanks go to 5hort5, who stopped and helped me after my radiator fan blew and my bike peed coolant everywhere. His spare 10a fuse helped greatly in preventing my bike from blowing up.

However, it didn't stop me getting a nail in the back tyre on the way home...
