Well there are ways you can do it mate.

Best thing to do is to speak to the guys at Quadtech (I did) and ask if they have a converter for your speedo cable. They did for my CBR which saved me a lot of hassle for £7

so i have decided this is the next MOD. Will anybody help me fit this? Im willing to pay you for the time used and if need be ride the bike somewhere. will be speaking to the guy at quad tonight and then ill decide what one i will buy

cos i think the normal dials on my bike look ****e and i like wizardy gadgertry looking things. no other reason than that really

I would find a manual for your bike and copy the wiring diagrams here, then I can tell you how much hassle it will be.
