So... the update is...
I've been hand feeding these 2 little cuties myself. At about 4pm the neighbour notices the mother trying to have another kitten. He waits. Nothing. He phones the vet and they suggest taking her up there. Off to the vet goes the neighbour with mummy cat. They check her over and realise that she is still carrying some more kittens. So they decide to induce her. A few minutes later she has another kitten. She doesn't want to know it so the vet takes it away to clean it up. When the vet takes kitty back she's had another one. But this one she's cleaning herself! Awww! So vet gives mummy cat her other baby and she's starts licking it and letting it feed. Even bigger Awww! I suggest to the neighbour about taking my 2 babies to her so he phones the vet. They suggest taking them up. I've just come back from taking those 2 little cuties up to their mother. The 2 she has are both tabby's too and she looks lovely. I've come away with a sad feeling that I've given away the babies that I've been taking care of for her today but I feel so pleased with myself that they're doing well but even more pleased that she has accepted them. They would have let my neighbour bring them all home but they've checked mummy cat over and she's still carrying another couple!! Bless! So all reunited with mum.... I so love a happy ending!! |

Kittens
A old fashion jute sack, a brick and the local cut. I know what you think of me, but natures way was for them to die as a result of the mother abandoning them. What right have any of us to interere with the plans of the ultimate mother. Besides cats belong outside hunting vermin, not domesticated eating whiskers.

A good tale but sadly lacking in the key elements of sex and violence I think. :P
