i personally was in a bunkhouse which i reckon is good vaslue for money and a lot less hassle / luggage to carry. staff were friendly and helpful and the blakc sheep beer and guinness were kept welland tasted fine Robchester for the 18 quid high season you get a decent sized pitch and unless you have a massive tent, if say 3 or 4 were sharing a largish tent its not bad value for money. if however you are a single person on a pitch then yes it is very expensive. |

Low wray is an ace campsite, if you can get there early you may be able to bag a spot right newt to the lake.
Park Foot camp site at Pooley Bridge is another good one (expensive tho) 01768 486309 if you want to book. Its best to go up the M6 to Penrith, take your 1st left onto a dual carrageway then at the roundabout first left again and just follow your nose. To get into the lakes you have to ride round Ullswater and up the excellent Kirkstone Pass. |

Does anyone know if this is happening? Me and Martyn are going anyway but wanted to know if we are going to have the pleasure of meeting some of you and having a nice ride up there
