Re: Are there going to be speed/ability groups on the ride out??
The designated markers will be doing the 'drop off' system so the new riders etc don't need to worry about it and I would imagine there will be a briefing before the ride to reinforce the system and the common sense rules of riding in a big group.

Re: Are there going to be speed/ability groups on the ride out??
Theres no need to worry on that front there will be a designated team of people who are doing the drop off's so theres no reason to go hooning through the pack on that account.

Re: Are there going to be speed/ability groups on the ride out??
I did similar last year Neio. I drifted towards the back and then made my way towards the front and the drifted to the back again etc.
No problems doing that as long as I kept an eye on my mirrors to let the markers through so they could get back to the front. |

If you know the roads and the stopping points then there's no reason you can't take off infront of the group and wait and the next fuel stop for everyone. I my well do this at some point so i can take some photo's of the group going by.

Re: Are there going to be speed/ability groups on the ride out??
I am happy to do anything. I had my speed fix with Ogden and his UKRM pals, I also like a group ride, sharing in the nods and winks and smelling the grass, enjoying the sunshine (there WILL be sunshine). I am happy to be a marker if people need, or I am happy to just go with the flow. Its all about the beer and meat at the end anyway
