Yep, they spent all the money on the paddocks. Had too because the teams were complaining about 3rd world facilities.

Said that I wouldn't go again after last year but as the date get closer..........who am I kidding!!

I did hear that there is the option of a covered grandstand this year though.....

I like donnington circuit. No cover for spectators but i've never found this to be a problem. Various events (BTCC, renault world series) i've taken my car to the infield parking and sat in it watching the whole stretch from the old hairpin up the hill. (i guess you can't do this on a Moto GP weekend though!!) I like to wander about at circuits anyway so you can see every bit of the track.

Was at uni in loughborough (1 motorway junction away) and spent lots of afternoons down there watching all sorts of stuff. Security let you in for free when its not a race day and you can just wander about watching track days, club race days and go in the pit lane etc.

last year at donny its was very very wet! whatever they spend on it it will still get slag'd after the event by MCN.

Yeah, we were there in the wet last year too, it did get a bit too much towards the end of the day.
