Road Attacks at 36psi front 42psi rear. Checked once a week.

Run them a couple of PSI lower than that in cold weather though.

why lower in cold weather ?

i run mine 34/40 (stock is 36/42)

but ive recently put them back to stock for some reason.

33F/36R as per Richienumbers dads masking tape sticker under the seat - works for me!

Check them every couple of weeks, never seem to move if I use the bike regularly...

Stops the sidewall flex they can give you when you thrash them... And has no obvious ill effects. Should also increase lifespan.

Because they're D220's and the grip on cold and wet days is pants. They feel grippier to me with 2 psi lower, though that could just be down to feeling more confident about doing it than actually getting any more heat into them.

Mine are most likely slightly lower than they should be. I tend to forget to check before I leave the house, then when I stop for petrol I consider it pointless to check as the tyres have warmed.

i normally run mine at 32/36 but i haven't checked in a while, i'll do it later on tonight

They are, softer tyres have more contact area.

If you run tyres too hard you can run the risk of reducing the contact area. This would speed up turning but reduce overall traction

Must admit I am really slack when it comes to checking my pressures routinely … therefore I have no idea what pressures my tyres are at!!! … To be honest when I last pumped them up I didn’t know what the recommended settings were … so pumped them to what I thought was ‘about right’ at the time!!!

I also have a mismatch of tyres … an Mez3 on the front a Pilot Race (170 section) on the rear … its all good!!

So in shot I don’ really check or care, but I feel I’d soon know if something was seriously amiss!!
