Hi

thanks for that.

Is it Wayne Hall's you are looking at, scoops racing?

I hope you are referring to the mess on the floor? It's where I removed the radiator overflow pipe as it still went into an expansion tank rather than a closed system.

Cheers
Stuart

Sorry for delayed reply lost my password !!! Scoops racing thats the bike . Have you ever done Aberdare Stuart , i have that in mind for next year, maybe Olivers mount but entry is a bit steep. If you are not happy with your forks i have a set with emulators and ktech springs just a thought... nice write up on roadracing site .cheers Paul

Hi

My turn to apologise for delay in writing.

Thanks for your comments.

Aberdare is good, really tight but lots of fun.

Didn't get on with Olivers Mount as you get no practice as a newcomer and are straight out with big boys for qualifing. Is off putting trying to work out where circuit goes and you have the likes of Guy Martin coming underneath you into a corner.

I've been told forks have been sorted but will see how I get on.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart

Hows it going. Have you abandoned that 400 of yours for a Supertwin? It's a good competitive class and mighty craic. I raced in it with my standard 650 for a few years before selling it and buying my 400.

Scoops racing bike is well tidy and a quick bike.

See you at Cookstown Stuart.

Cheers
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne

Good to hear from you.

Don't worry I haven't sold my 400. I've been told they will still be raced next year on the roads despite falling numbers.

My ZX6 is up for sale though if you know anyone interested?

I'm looking forward to having a go on Supertwins as was soul destroying in Junior Support to see the 650's just pull away, yet catch them in the corners and not be able to get around them.

Anyway hope you are well and to see you at Cookstwon.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi all

I've updated my blog with my supertwin build progress over Christmas.

I have tried to copy and paste it here but didn't have much success.

So you can read it all here

www.blackdub.co.uk

I now see what Mono means about my oil leak, well spotted, but hope it's been cured.

Also thanks to Mr Wilson and Dickyholdsworth who helped with the wiring stuff.

Fingers crossed she will be up and running soon.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Paul
Been busy working on bike, just need fairings & she should be ready to go.
I know he was after either an ER650 or a 600.
Good luck next weekend & would be interested in how you get on.
