I was told of this thread, seems strange to me people still find is surprising we have rain in April , as to riding in it, well there's little point in paying good money for decent all weather kit if you're not going to use it from my perspective, and of course we're all aware rain/snow/ice are less forgiving conditions, which is why practice is more useful as you make less mistakes, and subsequently enjoy it more.

I practice in all conditions, all the time, of course practicing the right skills for the conditions is key, ride your bike in the wet; like you do in the dry and you'll have problems.

had a lovely overcast with sunny spells day out on the bike today. only managed 180 miles though. i had great company, some cracking roads and i enjoyed myself.

We had such a lovely lazy day today, we had to go out on the push bikes to get a bit of exercise. Have spent all day gently rearranging the lounge though to make it more user friendly, after living here for four years, so it was a good day even though we did not get out on the 'proper' bikes.
