Carbs need a balance and the front brake seemed a little over zellous, but yes it seemed good. I did a 10 mile bimble upto about 80ish with no back firing or power problems (well apart from when I dropped it down a few gears and it did the normal Micron run down). I seem to have eliminated the problem by removing the carbs and replacing them with a set of my own. I need to take the others and strip them down to find the fault. Though as the bike hasn't been used by our lovely Ping for a while we might want to let her ease back in.

Probably needs another long run and a fresh tank of fuel and I think it should be sweet.
