Has to be The Blues Brothers!
I have no idea why. I hate musicals and films where they all sing, but they sing a lot in this. I like car chases to be as realistic as possible, the car chases in this are ridiculous! Maybe it's because I still love it after these foibles makes it my favourite... |

Difficult question..... Obviously not Star Wars, as the depiction of my death was rather premature.
Either Bladerunner or It's a Wonderful Life. |

There are so many great movies but I've always loved The Jungle Book as it was one of the first films I remember seeing.
Everything you need to know about life is contained in that story. Love, friendship, trust, betrayal, death, loss and growing up. I watched it coming home on the plane a couple of years ago and Stu thumped me on the arm and told me to stop singing as I was disturbing the other passengers, with headphones on I hadn't even realised I was doing my best Baloo impersonation! So remember... 'Don't spend your time lookin' around For something you want that can't be found When you find out you can live without it And go along not thinkin' about it I'll tell you something true The bare necessities of life will come to you!'

I love movies, have been collecting them for years first on VHS and now on DVD or Blue Ray. Being some what of a nerd I have them split on the shelves into Sci-Fi, Horror, Thriller (which is split into sub sections Spy, Assassin and war), musical and comedy.
I like cheesy movies, bad movies and even violent movies. My latest love was the Lego movie for all of its silly jokes and cheesy morality. Choosing just one above all of the others is all but impossible, but there is one that shines. Bladerunner... I have the collectors box set that comes in a tin with a still from the movie, a book about the movie, photos from the sets, pictures of the set designs by the original artist and every version of the movie ever released. Not only is the box set fabulous, but the final definitive cut of the film with reshoots and newly edited versions is beautiful to watch. Such a nerdy answer I know, but that is such a hard question... I knew that I should have done film studies at university instead of science. ![]() |
