Re: ...bizarre....(sleeping biker)
I have nearlly wrote a car off in the past falling asleep behind the wheel......ashamed to admit it though. I had been awake 36 hours and risked a long drive.....BIG MISTAKE
TIREDNESS KILLS....never ever think it wont happen to you. Luckily it was at 5am and no one else was on the road, but I could have killed my missus in the passenger seat.

Re: ...bizarre....(sleeping biker)
I woke up going sideways at 80mph after hitting the central reservation. Managed to control it and get it to the side of the road.

Re: ...bizarre....(sleeping biker)
I've done it on the GS waiting for someone from 11pm until 3am with a tarp over me. Real fun.

I woke up at 70 on the motorway.
Trouble was, I'd gone to sleep in my bed |

It gives you a buzz for a short while, but then as soon as it starts to wear off even slightly...........BAM your a sleep without even knowing it. Infact it makes matters worse as when the time comes you dont even feel your eyes and head going. The only cure when your tired and can feel your eyes dropping even slightly is to pull over and have 30 minutes or more. works wonders.
