Ive always wanted to do this too just never pulled my finer out and got round to it.
I poo myself jumping off the top board at the local swimming pool but as soon as i resurface i wanna run up and do it again. I can imagine jumping out a plane will be the same emotion but magnified by about 5million times!

i've done a solo jump and it is one of the best things i have ever done (other than marraige and kids of course)
the adrenalin rush is amazing especially if you are first to jump - you don't have too much time to worry then.

this threads been a great reinforcement. But everywhere I'm looking its about £200 per head for one jump! Add the gf to that, and that's a whopping £400 (not so cheap for a uni student may I add).
Incidentally, to obtain a full license (which is around 8 jumps or something) costs about £800..then apparently once you're fully licensed, jumps can go down to about £13!! Thats incredible. Might be tempted to scrap the idea and buy the gf a pretty dress or sumin, lol. She'd bottle it anyway. That way I haven't spent half the dosh of a full license on two one offs!... but then again why would I want a full license anyway? Would I really go skydiving that often?...tough choice, and the gf does claim she'd go thru with it, so I'm prob being a bit tight! Ah I duno...y so expensive dammit |
