Do you normally make a decision near the time or sooner?

Only asking because I've got compulsory overtime at work and will try to work it round this.

Don't change anything on my account though, it could rain or snow and bugger up my attendance anyway

Well its split over 3 dates at the moment, so at the moment I don't know.

We might need a 2nd vote or pull one of the dates out of a hat to sort it out.

The weather is meant to turn really cold next week, but that could just be a blip in the weather.

Bah! Cold is ok, snow on the other hand.............

I'm up for any of the 3 tied dates. Think it maybe worth running each date as a potential and see what the weather is doing.
Is a weeks notice enough for people when we have a rough idea what the weather will be like?

I can't do the 14th or 15th, but I can do the other dates. A weeks notice is enough for me and it might give a reasonable idea of what the weather will be like.

I'm busy on the 7th now, but also don't have a bike on the road yet.

I say for the March meat run we just pick a date well ahead, all commit to it and do it no matter what the weather! That way we can all have a get together atleast once
