Re: 750 set up @ Steve Jordans
Makes perfect sense. Deffo keep the CBR then, it will be perfect to take on the track. I've only done one track day but it was awesome, and hope to do some more this year.
I've actually got my eye on the 08 ZX-6R rather than the GSXR (just for the cost really) and I think I'd be tempted to keep my current ZX for the same reasons as your CBR. 750 on 0% as well tho, hmmn........ |

Muffles
I've got a K6 with standard everything except PCIII. 132 max hp at rear (originally was 12 but the big increases were 40% throttle, 10hp gain from standard. Bet the Yoshi sounds nice!

I got similar gains on part throttle so good to hear it's not uncommon. The Yoshi sounds great! It gives it a throatier sound - my K7 600 and K8 both suffered the same 'problem' where it sounds nice as standard but when you rev it, it's very high pitched and no 'growl'. I still had that problem when I changed the end can on the K8 - it was only when I got the full system it changed that sound. I think it's the cat, because a mate of mine's K7 600 with an Akra stubby sounds much more 'growly' (is that a word?). |

Hiya.
Sorry Muffles i havent had chance yet to print off a stock K8 dyno chart to compare. Its the dynojets that read about 4-8bhp higher than a dynapro dyno. The bike we had in after yours made 138 but that had a full yoshi system and is by far the best we have seen from one. I will try and get time in the next few days to get a stock 750 chart up and overlay yours. |

Re: 750 set up @ Steve Jordans
not sure what dyno is ran on, same as my GSXR600k2 which made 104 with some bits done so around what I was expecting, doubt it was out more than any other given all the vatrables dyno test seems to come with (humidity/temp etc). I've not seen many standard 750 with less than 130hp with a PCIII or similar.
Was thinking about getting a system but guess it would mean re-mapping again so more £'sss. Keeping stock for now. I did put on a GIPRO http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/GIpro.html which not only looks very nice in blue but gives a much smoother throttle action from closed and of course more access to low down power.
