Couple of probs with that, we're going to the plough i think in Monkspath, go there a lot, with friends and the missus dont drive (stops her getting away lol).
I'll probably go out around 1.30 -2.00

Tell you what, don't think we really have a plan, but if there are 4 of us interested I'll stick together a 2 hour ride-out route, meeting at Hopwood Park Services, which is about equidistant for all of us, meeting at 1:30pm. That should give some time for the day to warm up and roads to defrost. Sound like a plan?

Obviously it'll be a no go for me if there is snow lying on the roads.

Well that's about 200 yds from my house!

We go there a lot on a Sunday with the £5 early bird menu before 6:30, free refills on the soft drinks, and a free salad bar, it's just the ticket for a tight Scotsman when his wife can't be bothered to cook!

Are the friends local and would collect your missus, or are they from Monkspath? If you can meet your missus there and you want to garage the bike at my place whilst you eat you are more than welcome. I might even wash the salt off it for you

Thanks for the offer Col.
You mean Jeffersons, the harvester, not the plough which is a beefeater a little further up the road.
I dont think were going out until around 5 ish so should be ok.
