Hmm, thanks, I've had mixed success buying stuff like this online before. I'd rather physically see what I am getting before buying, but that isn't always possible.

When / if you get a new one, could you cut the wires and post them to me? I can pay P&P.

Looks like I might need a reg / rec also ...
left bike for ~ two weeks, and it started no problem the other day: did a 300 + mile round trip to Aberystwyth on Sunday (should have given a good charge to the battery, yes?) but today it does not want to know (flat bettery symptoms) ... i did notice in the dark on the return home on Sunday that when brake lights or indicator were on, the headlights dimmed a bit ...

So that sounds to me like the bike is mostly running off the battery if the reg is not charging enough, and my 300 mile trip has actually drained it instead of charging it -- would that be fair comment ?
Bike is 99 curvy, 26K on the clock

Any ideas where I can get a reg/rec in the NW ...??

Of course, if any of you tech experts think its something else, please let me know !!
