I was surprised they even mentioned him tbh, thought they would just blank him.

Apparantly Steve Brogan posted on his facebook after shooting the bike vs atom feature that Tiff was involved in the show

Be interesting to know how long tiffs contract at fifth gear has left.

All this rivalry between TG and fifth gear is all banter really, you'd be surprised at how much they intertwine, for example Vicky Butler Henderson and the fat beardie bloke who's name I can not recall at the moment off of 5th gear both write for top gear magazine.
