I concur You know what else looks good? Stripes. You should try that, it'd probably be fantastic.

Maybe some gold wheels, and could I burrow your USD front?

Well I have put on the number plate and indicator holder now... as you can see I need to get some more indicators.

The only real job left to do now is sort the rear brake, fit the indicators and rad guard, paint up panels and replace the coloured bolts. So as she is going to miss the AR, hopefully I will have her back on the road next month.

Things for the future once she is on the road -

Swap out cooler lines for some fancy ones.
USD front, need forks, wheel, mudguard, callipers and brakes.
Fit elec socket.
Fit smaller rear sprocket.
JMC swing arm if I have the cash.
Ignition advance.
K3 cams.
Race filter.

Cooler lines - Why, no performance boost to be had only dodgy bling factor.

JMC swing arm - Too heavy and gives no handling benefit, SV is better on a 160.

Ignition advance - If you are on about the TRE mod, already proven to have no performance gain.

K3 cams - Not as good as the hype, get some JHS cams instead.

Race filter - BMC.

i had a g-pack on my sv650s and i can definately sy i felt no difference at all, and cased me alot of problems, there not very "robust", also take onboard dangerousdave's advices JHS cams are very good, a mate of mine has em and recopmends them all day long, bmc race filter and a re-jet definately on the table.

But it looks nice and that is important too, after all this to be my 'best SV', that's why everything is taking so long.

JMC swing arm - Too heavy and gives no handling benefit, SV is better on a 160.

But I like the way it looks with the extra brace...

Ignition advance - If you are on about the TRE mod, already proven to have no performance gain.

Oh well.

K3 cams - Not as good as the hype, get some JHS cams instead.

Right, thats handy to know.

Race filter - BMC.

Yep.
Cheers, I'll note that.

A lot of people would disagree on the cams though. Including an awful lot of dyno runs.

There's K3's in your SV ain't there Northy, and in that case do they need to be K3 cams, or could K4-8 work just as fine?

Do you mind being called Northy?
