I've got a fairly mint boardman pro hardtail frame for sale, £100 inc the bottom bracket, seat post and seat.

recommend me a mountain bike
For under £3000 I'd look to buy an £1800 bike with fox float rear shock, then spend £550 on the SRAM X0 groupset from wiggle (you need to buy individually but it comes to just over £500) Then buy either some Hayes HFx hydraulic disc brakes £300.
That leaves you £400 PLUS what ever you sell the factory group and brake set for to think about if either the wheels or forks could do with upgrading. |
