Re: What advanced riding?
Another +1 for IAM from me, I enjoyed the training and there's been many an occassion since where I've been glad of it.

Re: What advanced riding?
Another +1 for IAM here, although I suppose I'm pretty much forced to plug it as an active observer...
Those of you who have taken the test might want to look at taking up observing - I've had to raise my standards even further to be able to make sure the guys I'm following are doing their obs in plenty of time. Unfortunatly, the boxer disease does appear to have infected my group - GSes are in regular attendance, and there are also quite a few Goldwings lurking around as well. |

Re: What advanced riding?
Our IAM has everything at it. Big scooters & Harleys are regulars and to be honest the two guys that ride them can keep up with anyone when your doing legal speeds...
Yes the IAM can be a bit @n@l but for teaching you bike skills you can't beat it...

Re: What advanced riding?
Bikesafe is ok for a newbie. I've done two with several years in between. The first was ok but the second was pretty much a waste of time.
It's £30 and an experience though (or at least it was £30 round here). At the time I got more than a £30 discount on my insurance. |
