Re: Does your SV give you a mental breakdown?
I know a guy that goes to the climbing centre, or did at least! Assuming its the one on Paisley road west? I also used to get stuck in Ibrox traffic... Well when I say stuck I mean I had to weave through!
As for your quandry, only you can really make the decision. For the record I think you should move on, you probably wont be settled until you do! And lets be honest if it all goes horribly wrong, SV's are not in short supply. But having seen people on these forums talk of their new/other bikes I reckon the vast majority are happy they went on to something else... I was already thinking of selling my SV, then rather luckily as it turns out I had a non fault accident and those kind insurance people gave me much more than I could have sold it for. My reasons were much the same as yours I guess. I mean the SV did pretty much everything I wanted/needed, but I had the nagging feeling I should branch out more, and there were better out there which I could now afford and should experience! Now I have bought something else and am loving it!... |

Re: Does your SV give you a mental breakdown?
SV is staying!
Taking her this weekend to Bill the Biker (on Alexandra parade) as i'm off work all next week (so won't need to commute), she will be getting suspension all done and some other nice stuff to get her to better than before! Now to buy some tarty stuff as well, fancy shorty levers |

Re: Does your SV give you a mental breakdown?
yeah i was just down the road from the stokesly/helmsley road, but i actually had more fun doing that road in my car than the bike.
Roads don't get much better? nah you need to come up here then. Dukes Pass etc are real roads! Don't think i'll be back with the bike, if i'm down it will just be to visit mates and will have taken the car. |

Re: Does your SV give you a mental breakdown?
Not got it back yet so don't know full price of breakdown but I've sent them off to get powdercoated.
Just give him a call, will be cheaper and better job than elsewhere. |
