Had a similar incident myself a while back. very frightening. i was on a crappy old GPZ with poor brakes, I didn't have a chance of stopping. Fortunatly the car driver who was about to turn realised I couldn't stop. Needless to say, i sold that bike and got one that acxtually stops!

Much as I have conditioned myself to hate the *******s, they occasionally deserve a modicum of thanks for , using their mirrors/phoning an ambulance
