Wait until Lidl have another bikers day and buy one of their rainproof b-square suits for a tenner. Worn mine a few times and never leaked. Just buy smaller size if you want aerodynamics :P

If you don't want all that over-suit faff, then perhaps just improve the impermeability of your leathers/textiles ... here's an example of a reputable product ...

Depends how long you are on your bike I suppose … a quick 20 min commute and this should keep the worst off .. if you ride 100 miles a day, then a gimp suit is the only way to go!!!

I saw someone trying to get into something like that once, it was brilliant. And it probably kept him, dry, since by the time he untied himself it had probably stopped raining.
