The Germans will speak better English than us Scots especially when we're drunk... I wonder if they'd cope with a drunken Scotsman in a skirt wanting hugs all time?
it's certainly tempting, I can see it being proposed as next years GM!!! Certainly would save me the worry of thinking about a route...

I am able to say 2 important phrases in German -
"A cup of tea, please" and "I have a rubber starfish in my pants" !!! So we'd be fine

Maybe add another phrase for "another beer, please" "Noch ein Bier, bitte!" .. not that difficult to learn
