Re: EARLY morning rides, road to yourself.
In summer, 6:30 meet Sunday morning for a 4 hour spirited ride, doesn't start getting busy until 9ish, lovely. One good reason for having a legal exhaust though, sound can be heard for miles with a loud can

Re: EARLY morning rides, road to yourself.
I'm on earlies this for the next four days. If the weather is goo, I take the scenic route to work via my fave lanes in Cheshire. Sometimes it takes over an hour instead of 25 minutes! Sets me up just nice it does!

Re: EARLY morning rides, road to yourself.
We normally go out starting at 7:00am - its usually plenty early enough to have the roads mostly to yourself - one thing to be careful of is the wildlife - birds/rabbits etc seem to be in the way more early in the mornings - or perhaps thats just dozy Naaarfuk! lol

Re: EARLY morning rides, road to yourself.
I like nightshift. After about 3.30am, the taxis have all gone to bed and the roads are empty. It can get pretty cold at this time of night though!

Ill wrap up warm, wear my high visibility vest and hopefully not get lost (then ill be late for work!). Off to bed now for a good 6 hours sleep hopefully. |
